A running list of recommended ingredient substitutions.  Please email in your own!

Buttermilk (great for pancakes & baking)

  • 1 cup of milk + dash of vinegar
  • 1 cup of milk + dash of lime juice

Maple Syrup

  • Boil water and sugar, then add a teaspoon of maple flavoring

Eggs for Baking

  • 1 mashed, over-ripe banana = 1 egg
  • 1 Tablespoon ground flax seed + 3 T. water = 1 egg
